Sydney has a science and research background that today is an integral part of our digital and social media communications. She is committed to ensuring LegaSea is a trusted source of fisheries information. Her understanding of fisheries stock assessment modelling and fisheries management processes is always backed up by reliable supporting evidence. Sydney is continually challenging herself to develop new skills that will help progress our team. Her background in team management has made her an obvious choice to lead the LegaSea Volunteer Programme which has contributed to the Waiheke crayfish survey, snapper catch and release mortality studies, the Kai Ika Project, and many supporter engagement activities. Sydney is passionate about everything LegaSea stands for and is dedicated to supporting our team on any wavelength.
