What does it mean to be a LegaSea Legend?

Becoming a LegaSea Legend is more than just a financial commitment, it’s a leadership role. You can inspire others to join us, to lend a hand. We are not looking for a few Legends, we are looking for thousands – a rising tide lifts all ships.

As a certified Legend, you’re investing in our fish resources for the benefit of future generations.

Involved – Actively participating and eager to learn how we can rebuild our fishery.

Respected – Appreciated by LegaSea and your fishing peers.

Informed – Aware of the issues affecting our fisheries.

Dedicated – Investing just $20 per month to help LegaSea to restore your fishery to abundance.

What is LegaSea doing about our diminishing stocks?

The sad reality is the current state of our fishery is not in a good place. As a country we have created a serious imbalance with the use of industrial fishing methods, overharvest and dysfunctional management systems. Without intervention NOW the outlook is bleak.

We know what needs to be done and how to get there but right now we seek the vision, generosity and initiative of forward-thinking individuals and organisations to help us achieve a shared goal – To rescue our fish.
